Narrative and graphics - my connection.

What is the connection between narrative and graphics? People have different answers for this question. Personally, a narrative is made up of many graphics. On the other hand, graphics also tell a story.

A narrative is actually written based on a situation or story. The writer views a situation and then writes a narrative out of it. Thus, the writer is actually putting many graphics together to make up a situation and then writes it out as a narrative.

Every graphic has a story behind it. When one or more graphics are put together, they form a different story from the individual graphic. A good example is the book 'Zoom'. A picture might look like a farm with animals, but the second zoom out picture shows that it is actually a girl playing with her toy farm set. A graphic actually tells a story, and it can be written into a narrative if the meaning behind the graphic is understood by the writer.

Thus, in some way or another, narrative and graphics are related and connected.
